* Après avoir débuté, en 1954, une association exceptionnelle avec J.J. Johnson, un autre tromboniste devenu très célèbre, Kai Winding poursuit ici, mais sans J.J. Johnson, le " Tour de force " des trombonistes, dans la foulée d'un " Trombone for Two " et d'un octet précédemment enregistré.
Quant au photographe, qui s'est " trombonement " coulissé, de manière anamorphique, dans le pavillon du trombone : malgré des agrandissements successifs, nous n'avons pu l'identifier !
